A typical Pilates class will involve a series of exercises that focus on core strength, flexibility, and balance. You’ll use a reformer bed, your own bodyweight and equipment to perform controlled movements and build strength. You will leave mastering the principles of safe movement and the anatomy of a reformer bed.

Yes !  Normal socks can be slippery and cause you to lose your footing or slide around during your workout. If you do not have grip socks already, they can be purchased in the studio.

For all group classes, there is a maximum capacity of 6. Small group classes allow the instructor to give each participant individualised attention. Doing each Pilates exercise correctly will help you hit your goals faster and avoid getting injuries. 

While Pilates may not be the most effective form of exercise for weight loss, it can help you tone and strengthen your muscles, which can improve your overall body composition.

Yes, Pilates can be very effective at relieving back pain by improving posture, strengthening core muscles, and increasing flexibility and mobility.

We offer 1:1 bookings for our pre and post natal members. Pilates can help your body cope with the changes you’re undergoing , Pilates is also a safe and effective way to recover from pregnancy and childbirth. to find out more, please contact us at hey@rangereformer.com

It is not recommended to start a new activity during pregnancy and wait till at least after 6 weeks postpartum before you return to a group-based Pilates class.
